Unwrap started as a simple way to open CSV files. With version 0.3, it becomes a private workspace for exploring unfamiliar files, exports, and archives.

One workspace for the whole export

You can now open CSV, JSON, Excel, and ZIP files in one place.

Unwrap finds the tables, images, and documents inside your files, shows how they relate, and helps you figure out where to start.

You can always trace what you see back to the original files, while working with a cleaner view of their contents.

Try it with a sample

Not ready to open your own files yet? The new sample workspace includes customers, orders, products, images, and a report.

It goes through the same local import flow as your own files, so you can see how Unwrap handles a small, realistic export first.

A better introduction to Unwrap

The homepage has been rebuilt to explain what Unwrap does before asking you to open a file.

Guides, supported formats, privacy information, and release notes now live together in one place instead of across separate CSV tools.

Unwrap still processes your file contents locally in your browser. The new privacy pages explain more clearly what stays on your device and which limited website requests still go online.

What’s next

The next releases will focus on reliability, better interpretation, and polish for real-world exports.

Adding more formats is useful, but making the formats Unwrap already supports easier to understand matters more.
